Atlantics ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Pomodoro Focus Timer mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically by our third-party service providers:

• Anonymous User Identifier: A randomly generated anonymous ID used to associate your subscription status, analytics events, and crash reports. This ID does not identify you personally.
• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version, and language settings. This information is collected by our crash reporting and analytics services to help us diagnose issues and improve the App.

• Crash and Error Data: If the App crashes or encounters an error, diagnostic information including stack traces, device state, and app state at the time of the error is sent to our crash reporting service.
• Advertising Data: When ads are displayed, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers, ad interaction data, and impression data to serve and measure the effectiveness of advertisements.

1.2 Subscription Information

Subscription tier (free or premium) and purchase status are managed through our payment processor (RevenueCat). We do not directly collect or store payment card information. All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store.

1.3 User Preferences (Stored Locally)

The following preferences are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers:

• Timer configuration (focus duration, break durations, number of pomodoros).
• App settings (auto-start preferences, haptic feedback, notifications, keep screen on).
• Onboarding and setup completion status.

1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identity: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account information. The App does not require registration or sign-in.
• Location data: We do not request or collect your geographic location.
• Contacts: We do not access your contacts or address book.
• Browsing history: We do not track your browsing activity outside the App.
• Health data: We do not collect health or fitness information.
• Photos, camera, or microphone: The App does not access your camera, photo library, or microphone.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide the App: Manage your timer sessions and deliver the core pomodoro timer functionality.
• To process subscriptions: Manage your subscription status and provide access to premium features, including ad removal and custom timer configurations.
• To display advertisements: Show relevant ads to non-premium users via Google AdMob. Premium users do not see ads.
• To improve the App: Analyze anonymized usage patterns to understand how features are used and improve the App experience.
• To diagnose issues: Use crash reports and error data to identify and fix bugs and performance issues.
• To deliver in-app notifications: Display important service announcements or alerts within the App via our remote alert system.

3. How Your Information Is Processed

3.1 Timer Functionality

All timer operations (countdown, phase transitions, progress tracking) run entirely on your device. Timer data is not transmitted to any server.

3.2 Live Activities

If you use the App on iOS 16.1 or later, timer progress may be displayed on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island via Live Activities. This data is processed locally on your device by the operating system and is not transmitted to our servers.

3.3 Local Notifications

The App may send local notifications to inform you when a timer phase is complete. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device and do not involve our servers.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share information only through the following third-party service providers:

5.1 Local Storage

Your timer settings and app preferences are stored locally on your device using iOS UserDefaults, which is encrypted at rest by the operating system. This data does not leave your device.

5.2 Third-Party Storage

Analytics events, crash reports, and subscription data are stored by our respective third-party service providers (PostHog, Bugsnag, RevenueCat) on their secure infrastructure. Each provider uses industry-standard security measures.

5.3 Security Measures

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between the App and third-party services.
• Anonymous user identifiers instead of personal information.
• On-device encryption for locally stored preferences.

5.4 Security Limitations

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

• Analytics Data: Anonymized usage events are retained by PostHog according to their data retention policies.
• Crash Data: Error and crash reports are retained by Bugsnag for diagnostic purposes.
• Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription records are retained by RevenueCat for the lifetime of the subscription relationship.
• Advertising Data: Ad interaction data is retained by Google according to their data retention policies.
• Local Data: Preferences stored on your device are cleared when you uninstall the App or clear the App's data through your device settings.

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Ad Personalization

You can control ad personalization through your iOS device settings under Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can also opt out of personalized ads by enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" on your device.

7.2 Notifications

You can enable or disable notifications through the App's Settings screen or through your device's notification settings.

7.3 Premium Subscription

By subscribing to Pomodoro Pro, you can remove all advertisements from the App. You can manage your subscription through the App or through the Apple App Store subscription settings.

7.4 Data Deletion

7.5 Analytics Opt-Out

You can limit analytics data collection by disabling the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on your device through your iOS privacy settings.

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or under the age of 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. 11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. Our analytics data is processed in the European Union (PostHog EU). Other service providers may process data in the United States or other jurisdictions.

For transfers from the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
